Toribio, sustituye a Aníbal Paradís, quien renunció al cargo debido a problemas de salud. La directiva presentó también como candidato a Fernando De León, quien en la Asamblea decidió retirar su postulación. Dominicano de Cultura en los Estados Unidos, y al cual asistieron decenas de miembros del CDP, autoridades del gobierno dominicano y representantes de organizaciones comunitarias de la ciudad.<br /><br />La Junta Directiva del CDP, New York, esta encabezada por Gabriela Remigio, Secretaria General y la completan Juan Pérez, Vice Secretario General, Freddy Galarza, Secretario de Organización,&nbsp;&nbsp; Zenith Diaz, Secretaria de Finanzas, César Nú&ntilde;ez, Secretario de Actas, y Marcos Bencosme y Anibal Paradis, vocales, mientras que Nita Adames y Luis Alfredo Collado
